Apollo Theater Holding Public Memorial for Michael Jackson Today at 2pm

The Apollo Theater will hold a public memorial service today, Tuesday, June 30 at 2pm until 8pm, with a moment of silence at 5:26pm, the time of Jackson's death. 600 mourners at a time to will be allowed to enter in 45-minute intervals and leave flowers and memorabilia at the foot of the stage, according to Nina Flowers, spokeswoman for the Apollo Theater Foundation. A DJ will play Jackson's songs.

Video tributes will be played of Jackson's life and career, and Al Sharpton, the President of the Apollo Theater, and others will eulogize Jackson under the marquee.
